Brian is a high school student interested in various domains of engineering. He is particularly interested in PCB design and 3D CAD modeling, and he has built various self-initiated DIY electronics projects during his time in high school. Under the supervision of Prof. Ray Cheung and guidance from exchange students, research assistants, and other senior interns at CALAS, Brian has learnt the fundamentals of logic gates, arithmetic units, and FPGA design, utilizing tools such as Vivado to program the FPGA on the PYNQ-Z2 board. During his internship, Brian also joined the CityU Underwater Robotics Team and worked on technical upgrades.
