Joseph McCurdy received a BSc degree in Geophysics from Imperial College London in 2010 and subsequently a Certificate in Chinese Language from The University of Hong Kong in 2011. He has worked across London and Hong Kong in roles spanning corporate treasury, collateral trading, and equities financing at firms including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Standard Chartered.

In addition to his finance background, Joseph has founded businesses in UK real estate development and Hong Kong-based eCommerce. He is currently a part-time research assistant associated with the CALAS group, where his present interests include holistic treatment approaches for Ankylosing Spondylitis, personalized AI-based learning, and AI agents for finance.
