Raymond Mak is an incoming freshman at UC Berkeley majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS). He is interested in the intersection between hardware and software, especially human-computer interaction, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and robotics. Under the guidance of Prof. Cheung and several PhD students, he is exploring these interests in preparation for real-world applications. Beyond academics, he is committed to empowering others through technology and innovation, particularly through founding Hong Kong’s first local-school tech community for teens by teens.
