Mr. Chengrui YIN (Terry) is a final-year undergraduate student at CityUHK Qingdao Research Institute. He is expected to receive his B.Eng in Microelectronics from Xi’an University of Posts and Telecommunications in Summer 2027. He joined CALAS as a research student under the supervision of Prof. Ray C. C. Cheung in Sep 2026. He has rich hands-on experience in FPGA development, completed multiple FPGA-based projects, published a co-first-author paper in Entropy, and won national-level awards in several FPGA competitions. His current research interests include FPGA implementation of neural networks, RISC-V architecture, NPU accelerator design, and cryptographic co-processors.
