Congratulations to Prof. Ray Cheung on His Cyberport Board Appointment!
Prof. Ray Cheung has been appointed as a Director of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited.
We are delighted to share that the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region announced on March 27, 2026 the appointment of Prof. Ray Cheung Chak-chung as a new Director of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited.
This two-year appointment will take effect from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2028. According to the official announcement, Prof. Ray was appointed together with Mr Herbert Hui Leung-wah and Mr Johnson Kong Chi-how, while six serving members were reappointed to continue their service on the Board.
The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Professor Sun Dong, noted that the Board’s diverse background, experience and insights will help Cyberport continue to fulfill its public mission and further accelerate Hong Kong’s development into an international hub for artificial intelligence and innovative technology.
This appointment is a strong recognition of Prof. Ray’s leadership and his continued contributions to innovation, technology, and the broader research community in Hong Kong. Congratulations, Prof. Ray, on this well-deserved honor.
