Congratulations to Issac on Receiving the Local Talent Scheme Award!

Please join us in congratulating Issac on receiving the Local Talent Scheme (LTS) for 2026/27 at City University of Hong Kong.

The Local Talent Scheme is a highly valuable opportunity designed to nurture outstanding local students for PhD study while allowing them to develop their research capabilities through simultaneous work as a Research Assistant. In this sense, it serves as an excellent local equivalent to the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), offering strong recognition and support for promising young researchers.

Under this award, Issac will pursue his PhD in part-time mode while serving as a full-time Research Assistant, with scholarship support of HK$28,000. This recognition reflects his strong academic potential and marks an important milestone at the beginning of his research journey.
