We are delighted to share that Prof. Ray Cheung has received the CENG Outstanding Teaching Award 2025-26.
We are pleased to congratulate Prof. Ray Cheung, Associate Provost (Digital Learning), Director of the Institute of Future Learning, and Professor of Electrical Engineering, on receiving the Outstanding Teaching Award (OTA) 2025-26 from the College of Engineering.
This award recognizes Prof. Cheung’s exceptional contributions to student learning and his dedication to promoting excellence in teaching. He is deeply committed to building an innovative, interactive, and student-centered learning environment, integrating team-based learning with digital and collaborative approaches that encourage students to take an active role in their learning journey.
This is the second time Prof. Cheung has received this prestigious recognition, reflecting his sustained excellence in teaching and lasting impact on engineering education.
Since the establishment of the CENG OTA in 2019/20, only a select number of faculty members have received this honor, with five recipients from the Department of Electrical Engineering to date. This achievement highlights the department’s strong commitment to teaching excellence.
