Prof. Mehdi and Team CALAS Publish Systematic Review in SN Computer Science!

Congratulations to Prof. Mehdi Hasan Chowdhury and Team CALAS on the publication of their collaborative review article, “Electrooculogram Based Point of Care Systems: A Systematic Review”, in SN Computer Science.

Published by Springer Nature on 29 June 2026, the article reviews recent progress in electrooculogram (EOG)-based point-of-care systems, with attention to hardware implementations, signal processing methods, classification approaches, system performance, and future research directions.

This publication reflects a strong collaborative effort involving Prof. Mehdi, Dr. Abdurrashid Ibrahim Sanka, Prof. Ray C. C. Cheung, and the wider research team. It also highlights CALAS’s continued contributions to point-of-care technologies, biosignal processing, and reconfigurable computing for healthcare applications.
