Welcome Back Prof. Mehdi to Hong Kong!
CALAS warmly welcomes Prof. Mehdi Hasan Chowdhury back to Hong Kong. He will return by the end of September 2026.
We are delighted to join Prof. Ray C. C. Cheung in warmly welcoming Prof. Mehdi Hasan Chowdhury (Prof. Mehdi) back to Hong Kong by the end of September 2026.
Prof. Mehdi is a CALAS PhD graduate of Prof. Ray. He received the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship (HKPFS) in 2018 and completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, in 2021. During his doctoral studies he received the outstanding academic performance award, research tuition scholarship, outstanding TA award, and HKPFS academic excellence award.
He is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. His research interests include Biomedical Engineering and Embedded Systems.
A warm welcome back to Prof. Mehdi. We look forward to seeing him in Hong Kong.
